 Shanghai Nanyang Electrical Machinery Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture jointly invested by Shanghai Electric (Croup) Corporation and Swedish Ruihua Corporation. The former of the company was Shanghai United Electrical Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. Nanyang Electric Machine Works and Shanghai Crane Motor Works, subordinate to Shanghai Electric (Croup) Corporation. The company is an enterprise with the longest history in manufacturing small and medium-sized AC & DC motors in China. It is dedicated to research, development, production and sales of small and medium-sized AC, DC, traction, wind-power electric machines for industrial use, being a backbone enterprise in the national electric machine industry and a manufacturing base of small and medium-sized electric machines.
As early as May 1996, it obtained the qualified certificate of ISO9001 Quality Management System.
