Shanghai Nanyang Electrical Machinery Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture jointly invested by Shanghai Electric (Croup) Corporation and Swedish Ruihua Corporation. The former of the company was Shanghai United Electrical Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. Nanyang Electric Machine Works and Shanghai Crane Motor Works, subordinate to Shanghai Electric (Croup) Corporation. The company is an enterprise with the longest history in manufacturing small and medium-sized AC & DC motors in China. It is dedicated to research, development, production and sales of small and medium-sized AC, DC, traction, wind-power electric machines for industrial use, being a backbone enterprise in the national electric machine industry and a manufacturing base of small and medium-sized electric machines.
As early as May 1996, it obtained the qualified certificate of ISO9001 Quality Management System.
The company is a new & high-tech enterprise of Shanghai Municipality and a district-class technology centre of Jiading District in 2006 and 2007; an advanced technology enterprise of foreign investment of Shanghai in 2007; and a cultivated enterprise for patent work in Shanghai and a trial patent execution enterprise in Jiading District.
Series YTSP and series YTSZ inverter-fed three-phase induction motors gained the product safety UL Certification of the American Underwrite Laboratory and the CSA Certification of the Canadian Standard Association.
Series YTSP and Series YTSZ inverter-fed three-phase induction motors and series Z4 DC motors passed the CE low voltage confirmation certificate of the German Rhine Company.
Series YZR and YZ crane motors obtained the excellent new product award of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, and became the single-unit products for completion appointed by the State Electric Power Bureau.
Series Z4 DC motors and inverter-fed three-phase induction motors were honorably awarded the 'Shanghai Famous Brand Product' in more than 10 consecutive years and have a certificate exempt from inspection of product quality issued by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
Series Z4 DC motors are the energy-saving product of Shanghai.
AC traction motors for rail transit vehicles are a project of new & high-tech achievement transformation of Shanghai, being one of top 100 self-innovation brands in machinery building industry and new & high-tech industry in 2007.
MW-class wind-power generators are a special project of major technology and equipment research and manufacture of Shanghai in 2007. Some generators have been connecting to the electric grid for power generation in wind farms in Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang.
Main products of the Company are:
Small & medium-sized DC motors, inverter-fed three-phase induction motors, elevator motors, special vehicle motors and crane & metallurgical three-phase induction motors of the five categories, totally more than 50 series of motor products. These products are widely used in such industrial sectors as paper making, sugar producing, printing & dyeing, rubber & plastics, machinery, metallurgy, mining, port machinery, hoisting & transportation, etc. They are spread all over the nation and exported to USA and Southeast Asian countries.
The company also produces in batch the permanent magnet synchronous gearless motors, inverter-fed permanent magnet synchronous motors, medium voltage high power inverter-fed three-phase induction motors, and cooperates with France ALSTOM Company to manufacture AC traction motors for urban rail transit.
In 1999, after approved by Shanghai Municipal Planning Commission and reported to the State Planning Commission for project setup, Nanyang Company was ranked a traction motor production base. Now it has formed series manufacturing capability for traction motors. |
